The time to make the Will is before you need it.

For example, who is going to raise your children (or grandchildren?) if something happens? Parents with minor children need a Will so they can name a guardian for their children in case they pass away. Otherwise, there will be a guardianship proceeding costing thousands of dollars. Plus, you have no say-so as to who is going to raise your children. Don’t you know some relatives you know for sure that you don’t want raising your children?
